Sizzle Whomp pies are made by Ashley and Meghan. We love everything about food: planting, growing, harvesting, inventing recipes, cooking, eating, and sharing with others.

Everyone has their pandemic lockdown story; ours is one of love and pouring our love into pies. We baked pies for neighbours when social distancing kept us from hanging out. We baked pies for friends with new babies. As our love for each other grew, so did our baby Sophie, who was born in Nov 2022.

The intensity of the pandemic, the bliss of our relationship, the teamwork of raising our child, the dedication to our community, our love for sharing good food with others, it’s all brought us here, where we are ready to share Sizzle Whomp pies with everyone.

A "sizzle whomp" is the heartbeat of a pie, after all (a perfect pie is ready when you can see its filling sizzling and bubbling up through the pie's vents). ❤️
